We produced over 25 projects this year.
Here are a few of our favorites.
UPS
Race to Mexico
What do you get when combine your biggest project, for your biggest client to date, with a breakneck shooting schedule in a city 1100 miles from your office? Answer: Insomnia!
That was a joke, friends—what better opportunity for Uptop to show how well we can deliver than for UPS? We’re proud to report that with the smooth handling and speed of the Ferrari we featured in the video, we piloted pre-produciton, storyboards, script, post-production and delivery, including shooting in Austin Texas, on a 40-person set...in four hours (yes, you read that right).
Allina Health
Choose Healthy
Despite the occasional french fry binge, we know the importance of a healthy lifestyle, so we were very pleased to be part of Allina Health’s “Choose Healthy” Initiative. We created an animated video, another great story-telling tool we have in our toolbox, to bring the campaign to life for Allina’s 27,000 employees and the patients they service.
Scholarship America
Michael & Susan Dell Foundation - Scholarship Recipient Story
Raindrops on roses? Whiskers on kittens? Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens? Brown paper packages tied up with strings…sure we love those, and singing nuns too, but our very favorite things are true stories with happy endings.
This year, Uptop traveled from California to Connecticut, visiting six colleges and capturing true student stories of determination and success. Joe also ate his weight in cafeteria french fries on at least two campuses, which was exciting/alarming. We were so very gratified that our mini-documentaries for Scholarship America went on to be showcased at the 2016 'Dreams to Success' Gala Event in Washington, D.C.
Wilder
Here for Good
Making “Moving Content” is what ultimately motivates us. So when The Wilder Foundation, an organization that does so much good in and around the city of St. Paul, asked us to create a piece promoting the many amazing services they offer, we were honored.
Our ‘moving content’ modus operandi was utilized literally in this video--our host keeps the spot moving with his engaging and quirky delivery, each service of the Wilder organization introduced seamlessly after the one before. The message is reflected in the execution; Wilder isn’t looking back, they’re moving forward, and so are the people whom they serve. Wilder said of the finished spot, “It is fresh, fun, and yet respectful of the important work we do here!”
